Mere Bear and I had a discussion about blogging today. I think that we both came to the conclusion that blogging is like screaming your thoughts in an empty coliseum; although the potential audience is nearly unlimited, the rant becomes increasingly pointless as you realize that no one is listening.
Please do not misinterpret my horrid analogy; I have nothing against blogging. I have merely arrived at the realization that until I have enough time and desire to make myself heard, I will simply remain (for a lack of better words) unheard.
Mere Bear thinks that the AP English 11 course is bollocks and a bit much to learn over a single semester. I agree.

See, I do check in on your blog from time to time...
Blogging is important and worthwhile; it just takes a little more perseverance and self-motivation than most of us have, unless we're Sean Coon....
I also think blogging only really works with a readership/audience with whom you can bounce ideas.
Next year (if I get to teach you guys again) I really hope to start a class blog...
